Test Your Grit

Our first camp in 2013 was a merry group of 6. Packing only what they could carry into the hills of our family farm in West Virginia, this group started a tradition. Friendly competition and learning skills outdoors together became an annual event. As the years have gone on our camp has grown and changed — and now we’re taking it to the community.

Our 10th Annual Axe Camp is upon us, and will be hosted at Yellowood Farm in Canal Winchester, Ohio.

“Axe camp is a chance to test your grit and what you and your axe are capable of.”

— Don Argento (614 Magazine | December 2014)

AXE CAMP HOSTS

Cori and Benjamin Rowley have been restoring vintage axes and tools together since 2010. In 2013 they began hosting Axe Camp at their family’s farm in West Virginia. The camp has since found its new home at Yellowood Farm in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Cori and Benjamin are both designers, who look for any opportunity to take their creative problem solving to the outdoors.

SPONSOR AXE CAMP

IT TAKES A VILLAGE. OR AT LEAST SOME VILLAGERS WITH CASH.

We’ve been hosting Axe Camp for ten years, and it sure isn’t cheap — but it’s a whole heck of a lot of fun. What’s better? We teach folks to love the outdoors and be smart and safe while they’re at it.

Let’s give it to you straight — we need your money, your services, your products, and your swag.
